The 2014 listing identifies UOL Development (Sengkang) as developer and DP Architects as architect. In 2018, BCA profiles Riverbank @ Fernvale under GoldPLUS in the residential category.
These are distinct stages and labels. The earlier design listing should not be presented as proof that all facilities were already operating that year, and the later award is not used here as a first-occupation date.
The 2018 profile highlights different ways to enter the swimming pool, lowered barbecue counters and a designated Universal Design Corner with explanatory material.
Those details broaden the idea of access. Our interpretation is that inclusive design asks not only whether someone can reach a facility, but whether they can take part in an activity there. That is a useful question for families to discuss without judging another person’s abilities.
