Quick read | 先看最重要的

Look around you. You do not need to imagine an English world. You are already inside one.

看看你身边。你不需要先想象一个“英语世界”。你眼前的房间已经可以变成英语词汇材料。

Start with ten words:

home · room · door · window · table · chair · bed · phone · bag · key

Then add phrases:

  • at home
  • in the room
  • open the door
  • close the window
  • on the table
  • under the chair
  • my phone
  • my bag
  • my key

Then add sentences:

  • I am at home.
  • This is my room.
  • The phone is on the table.
  • Where is my key?

Why everyday objects are high-value beginner vocabulary | 为什么日常物品很适合零基础?

Concrete words are easier when you can see and touch the object.

例如你学 chair 时,可以直接指向椅子。你学 door 时,可以真的开门、关门。

This gives one word several connections:

  • English spelling
  • English sound
  • real object
  • action
  • location
  • phrase
  • sentence

一个词不再只连接中文翻译。

Rooms in a home | 家里的房间

English中文Useful phrase
homeat home
house房子my house
flat / apartment公寓my flat / apartment
room房间in the room
bedroom卧室my bedroom
living room客厅in the living room
kitchen厨房in the kitchen
bathroom浴室 / 洗手间in the bathroom

garden花园in the garden

Cambridge Pre A1 Starters uses familiar home and everyday wordlists, supporting this concrete beginner route.

Doors, windows and walls | 门、窗、墙

dooropen the door
windowclose the window
wallon the wall
floor地板 / 楼层on the floor
ceiling天花板the ceiling
stairs楼梯the stairs

One word can have more than one meaning. floor may mean the surface under your feet or a level in a building. A beginner does not need every meaning at once; learn the one in your current sentence.

Furniture | 家具

table桌子on the table
chair椅子under the chair

desk书桌 / 办公桌at the desk
shelf架子on the shelf

Location words are essential | 位置词非常重要

English中文Example
in在……里面in the room
on在……上面on the table
under在……下面under the chair
next to在……旁边next to the bed
near在……附近near the door
behind在……后面behind the door
in front of在……前面in front of the house
inside里面inside the bag
outside外面outside the house

初学者不要把介词只背成中文译词。一定要和真实物体一起练。

Where is it? | 它在哪里?

Use a real room.

  • Where is the phone?
  • It is on the table.
  • Where is the bag?
  • It is under the chair.
  • Where is the key?
  • It is in the bag.

这种练习让“物品词 + 位置词 + 问句”一起工作。

This / that / these / those | 指着物品学 this/that

  • This is my phone.
  • That is the door.
  • These are my keys.
  • Those are my shoes.

不要只背 this = 这个, that = 那个。用真实距离和指向来建立意思。

One and many | 一个和多个

one chairtwo chairs
one bookthree books
one keytwo keys
one boxtwo boxes

物品词很适合开始注意英语复数词尾,但本课仍然把重点放在“词汇可用性”,不替代完整复数语法课。

A / an | 一个物品

  • a book
  • a chair
  • a phone
  • an apple
  • an umbrella

中文没有完全相同的冠词系统,所以不要期待“a/an”永远能逐字翻译。先把常见名词短语当单位。

Countable and uncountable beginner watch points | 可数与不可数初级注意点

Some object/material words do not behave the same way.

  • a chair / two chairs
  • a bottle / two bottles
  • some water
  • some money
  • some paper

当你想说“一个”时,先检查这个英语名词在当前意义里是不是通常可数。

Container phrases | 容器短语

a cup of tea一杯茶
a glass of water一杯水
a bottle of water一瓶水
a bowl of rice一碗饭
a piece of paper一张 / 一片纸

这种“量词式”短语对中文学习者很重要,因为两种语言切分可数单位的方法并不完全一样。

Action + object | 动作 + 物品

open the door开门
close the window关窗
read a book读书
write with a pen用笔写
use the phone用手机 / 电话
carry a bag背 / 拿包
find the key找到钥匙
clean the room打扫房间
make the bed整理床铺
wash the cup洗杯子

物品词一进入动作,就更接近真实生活。

Daily object sentence frames | 日常物品句型

  • This is a ___.
  • This is my ___.
  • I have a ___.
  • I need a ___.
  • Where is the ___?
  • The ___ is here.
  • The ___ is on the table.
  • Please open the ___.

The room walk | 房间走一圈

Walk through one room. Name ten things.

例如:

  • door
  • window
  • table
  • chair
  • book
  • phone
  • bag
  • cup
  • light
  • key

Then make five phrases:

  • my phone
  • on the table
  • open the door
  • under the chair
  • my key

Sticky-note method | 便签法

Put small English labels on a few safe objects for a short period:

  • door
  • window
  • table
  • chair
  • mirror

But do not leave them forever. After a few days, remove the notes and test recall. Otherwise the label becomes permanent help and memory does less work.

Touch and say | 摸到就说

Touch an object and say:

  • door
  • a door
  • the door
  • open the door

一次只增加一点。这样同一个物品词逐渐进入更大的语言单位。

Find it | 找东西练习

Someone says:

  • Find the phone.
  • Find a book.
  • Find the key.
  • Find something on the table.

听到词以后用真实动作反应,可以强化声音与物体的连接。

Hide and remember | 盖住再回忆

Look at five objects for 30 seconds. Cover them or leave the room. Say/write the English words from memory.

这比一直盯着标签更接近真正提取。

Room category recall | 房间分类回忆

Without looking, name:

  • 5 bedroom words
  • 5 kitchen words
  • 5 bathroom words
  • 5 personal objects

分类提示可以帮助零基础逐渐走向自由回忆。

Mixed retrieval | 混合提取

Now mix:

chair · toothpaste · phone · fridge · bed · wallet · window · spoon

说中文意思,再说一个短语。

Listen and point | 听词指物

Ask someone to say one word. Point to the correct object or picture.

如果“看得懂 chair,但听不出 chair”,你需要声音训练,不是更多中文翻译。

Hear and write | 听词写词

Use known vocabulary only.

  • door
  • table
  • chair
  • phone
  • key

听写可以检查声音→拼写通道。

Spelling families and chunks | 拼写观察

  • bed / bedroom
  • bath / bathroom
  • book / bookshelf
  • tooth / toothbrush / toothpaste

看见组合词里重复的词根,会让长词更容易拆解。

Home words that can be verbs too | 有些物品词也可能有其他词性

For a beginner, learn the most common meaning first. Later you may meet other uses.

  • phone — noun: a phone; verb: phone someone
  • light — noun: the light; adjective: a light bag
  • clean — adjective: a clean room; verb: clean the room

不要一次把所有词性全部塞进去。先稳住当前用法,再扩展。

House vs home | house 和 home

house often refers to the building.

home refers more broadly to the place where you live / feel at home.

  • This is my house.
  • I am at home.
  • I want to go home.

中文都可能与“家/房子”有关,但英语搭配不同。最重要的是学完整短语。

Room vs home | room 和 home

room = 房间.

home = 家.

  • in my room
  • at home

不要把两个词因为中文都与“住的地方”有关而混在一起。

Desk vs table | desk 和 table

A desk is commonly used for study or work. A table has many general uses, including eating.

零基础不需要学所有家具分类,只需先建立两个常见核心概念。

Cup vs glass | cup 和 glass

cup and glass are both drink containers but are not interchangeable in every situation.

  • a cup of tea
  • a glass of water

把容器词和典型短语一起学,比只背中文“杯子”更好。

Useful home adjectives | 描述家与物品

biga big room
smalla small table
newa new phone
old旧 / 老an old chair
clean干净a clean room
dirtya dirty cup
open开着的an open door
closed关着的a closed window

Describe five things | 描述五个东西

  • My phone is new.
  • The room is small.
  • The door is open.
  • The cup is clean.
  • The chair is old.

同一个物品词和形容词连接以后,就能开始表达差异。

Object questions | 物品提问

  • What is this?
  • What is that?
  • Where is my phone?
  • Is this your bag?
  • Do you have a key?
  • Is the door open?

Object answers | 简单回答

  • This is a book.
  • That is a chair.
  • Your phone is here.
  • Yes, this is my bag.
  • No, I do not.
  • Yes, it is open.

Mini reading | 超简单阅读

“I am at home. This is my room. My phone is on the table. My bag is under the chair. My book is on the bed. My key is in my bag.”

Find six object/location phrases.

Then close the text and rebuild it using your own room.

Mini writing | 超简单写作

Write five true sentences:

  1. This is my ___.
  2. My ___ is on the table.
  3. My ___ is in the room.
  4. The ___ is open.
  5. I have a ___.

One-minute room talk | 一分钟房间口语

“This is my room. I have a table and a chair. My phone is on the table. My bag is near the door. My book is on the bed. The window is open.”

下一次换成厨房、客厅或书桌。

Do not learn 100 object words at once | 不要一次背 100 个物品词

Choose by usefulness.

If you use a laptop every day, laptop may deserve early priority. If you never use a particular household item, it can wait.

建立:

  • common core
  • my home core
  • my work/study objects

Your personal object list | 你的个人物品词表

Take one photo of your desk or room. List 15 objects you actually use.

Example:

  • phone
  • charger
  • laptop
  • book
  • pen
  • bag
  • key
  • cup

真正属于你生活的词更容易产生重复使用机会。

Vocabulary card model | 物品词卡

FieldExample
Wordkey
Chinese钥匙
Phrasemy key
Location phrasein my bag
SentenceMy key is in my bag.
QuestionWhere is my key?

Spaced review | 间隔复习

Day 1: five room words.

Day 2: recall five + add five personal objects.

Day 4: mixed object/location practice.

Day 7: remove labels and do a room walk from memory.

Day 14: describe a different room.

Connect to wider eduKate pages | 连接更大的系统

This page stays at the very simple vocabulary-entry level and does not replace deeper preposition or grammar teaching.

Reference floor | 研究与资源底线

Cambridge Pre A1 materials use familiar everyday wordlists and picture-based activities; British Council A1 similarly centres immediate everyday needs.

Final check | 最终自检

Can you:

  • name 15 objects in your home?
  • name 5 rooms?
  • use in/on/under with real objects?
  • ask Where is my ___?
  • describe 5 objects?
  • recall the words without labels?

Final rule | 最后一条规则

Turn real objects into English anchors.

把真实物品变成英语锚点。

See it → name it → place it → describe it → hide the label → recall it.

看见 → 命名 → 说位置 → 描述 → 去掉标签 → 回忆。
