Need to print a short document in Sengkang? NLB’s Sengkang library guide identifies multimedia stations and a printing station on Level 3. Prepare the file before visiting so the errand stays straightforward.
NLB’s current multimedia-services page lists black-and-white A4 printing at $0.21 per page, including GST. Printing is chargeable even though members can access certain multimedia services without charge.
Check the current service information and station instructions before submitting your job. This guide is for ordinary document printing; confirm any special format or urgent requirement separately.

Prepare the exact document
Check that you have the final version, the correct page order and the pages you actually need. Give the file a clear name so you do not accidentally print an earlier draft.
Review the document on your own device before leaving. Look for clipped text, blank pages and missing information. A final preview can prevent an unnecessary second print job.
If the document must meet an organisation’s instructions, read those first. A recipient may have specific requirements that an ordinary A4 black-and-white printout does not satisfy.
Use the library stations in the right order
NLB’s Sengkang Social Story describes submitting the document through a multimedia station, then using the nearby printing station to pay and print. Follow the current screens and ask staff if the process is unfamiliar.
NLB members log in to multimedia services with their myLibrary username. Check that you can access your account before visiting rather than relying on a password you have not used recently.
Confirm the supported way to access your file at the station. Do not assume a particular file format, storage device or direct phone-printing method is supported without checking.
Check the job and payment
NLB states that print jobs must be paid for before collection. Its published service is black-and-white printing, so check another provider if colour is essential.
At the published rate, ten A4 pages cost $2.10. Review the page count and the actual amount displayed before paying; use the current station price if the published information has changed.
Check the job selection carefully, particularly if you submitted more than one file. Choose only the print job you intend to collect and follow the terminal’s current payment instructions.
Collect and check before leaving
Count the pages and inspect the important sections while you are still nearby. If a job fails or the output is unclear, ask for help before repeatedly submitting and paying for the same document.
Sign out of any accounts you used and take your documents and belongings with you. Keep personal paperwork together rather than leaving it at the workstation.
For a longer visit, check seat availability separately. A multimedia station and a bookable study seat serve different purposes; our official seat-booking link helps you plan the reading part.
