本课建立一个subscription / membership lexical system：subscription、membership、plan、trial、monthly/annual、renew、renewal、expire、expiry、auto-renew、billing period、fee、included、cancel、pause、upgrade、downgrade、active/inactive 等。它只教词义与常见短语，不推荐服务、价格方案，也不提供具体账户取消、付款或退款操作。

一、subscription：订阅

a subscription 一项订阅。

monthly subscription 月订阅。
annual subscription 年订阅。

二、subscribe：订阅

subscribe to a service 订阅一项服务。

subscription 是名词；subscribe 是动词。

三、membership：会员资格

membership 会员资格/会员身份。

gym membership 健身房会员资格。
club membership 俱乐部会员资格。

四、member：会员

a member 一名会员。

member 是人；membership 是会员资格。

五、plan：方案 / 套餐

subscription plan 订阅方案。
basic plan 基础方案。

本页不比较哪种 plan 更划算。

六、package：套餐 / 组合

service package 服务套餐。

package 也可表示包裹，第052课已学物流义。

七、tier：等级

membership tier 会员等级。

tier 比 level 稍正式，常见于分级方案。

八、basic / standard / premium

basic 基础。
standard 标准。
premium 高级/付费等级。

这些是标签词，不代表实际质量高低。

九、trial：试用

a trial 试用期。

free trial 免费试用。

free trial 不自动表示之后永远免费。

十、trial period：试用期

trial period 试用期间。

具体多久要看服务方条款。

十一、included：包含

What is included? 包含什么？

Two devices are included. 包含两个设备名额。

included 不等于 unlimited。

十二、extra：额外的

extra fee 额外费用。
extra feature 额外功能。

十三、add-on：附加项目

an add-on 附加服务/附加项目。

add-on 不一定包含在基础方案里。

十四、feature：功能

plan features 方案功能。

具体功能要看当前产品说明。

十五、monthly：每月

monthly payment 月付款。
billed monthly 按月计费。

十六、annual / yearly：每年

annual plan 年度方案。
yearly subscription 年订阅。

annual 和 yearly 高度接近。

十七、billing period：计费周期

billing period 计费周期。

Lesson 054 已出现这个词组，本课放入 subscription 场景。

十八、billing date：计费日期

next billing date 下一次计费日期。

真实日期以账户/服务方通知为准。

十九、renew：续期

renew the membership 续会员。
renew the subscription 续订。

二十、renewal：续期 / 续费

renewal date 续期日。

renew 是动词；renewal 是名词。

二十一、auto-renew / automatic renewal

auto-renew 自动续费/自动续期。
automatic renewal 自动续期。

本页只教词义，不教具体开关方法。

二十二、renew automatically：自动续期

The plan renews automatically. 方案会自动续期。

automatically = 自动地。

二十三、expire：到期

The membership expires in June. 会员资格六月到期。

expire 是动词。

二十四、expiry / expiration：到期

expiry date 英式常见。
expiration date 美式常见。

expiry / expiration 是名词。

二十五、active：有效 / 正在使用

active subscription 有效订阅。

active 不等于 automatically renewed；它只描述当前状态。

二十六、inactive：未激活 / 无效状态

inactive membership 当前未激活/非有效状态。

具体原因要看服务说明。

二十七、expired：已到期

expired membership 已到期会员资格。

expired 与 cancelled 不完全相同。

二十八、remaining：剩余的

remaining days 剩余天数。

three days remaining 还剩三天。

二十九、until：直到

valid until Friday 有效至星期五。

第024/038课已有时间范围词；这里进入会员期限场景。

三十、valid：有效的

valid membership 有效会员资格。

valid 也可用于票、证件、优惠券等。

三十一、cancel：取消

cancel a subscription 取消订阅。

取消时间、退款与剩余权益由服务方条款决定。

三十二、cancellation：取消

cancellation date 取消日期。
cancellation policy 取消政策。

本页不解释政策。

三十三、pause：暂停

pause a membership 暂停会员资格。

并非所有服务都支持 pause。

三十四、resume：恢复

resume the subscription 恢复订阅。

pause / resume 成对学习。

三十五、upgrade：升级

upgrade the plan 升级方案。

通常指转到功能/等级更高的方案。

三十六、downgrade：降级

downgrade the plan 降低方案等级。

不代表“质量变坏”的人格评价，只是方案等级变化。

三十七、switch / change plan

switch plans 更换方案。

三十八、account：账户

subscription account 订阅账户。

四十六、subscription ≠ permanent ownership

subscription 通常表示在某个期限内获得服务或访问权限，不等于永久拥有所有内容或功能。

四十七、free trial ≠ no future charge

“免费试用”只描述试用阶段。试用后是否收费、何时续期、怎样取消必须阅读真实服务条款和账户状态。

四十八、隐私与账户边界

五十一、第一处卡点怎么修？

subscribe/subscription 混淆，就分动词/名词。renew/renewal 混淆，也分动作/名词。cancel/pause 混淆，就分“结束/暂时停止”。active/expired 混淆，就画当前有效与已经到期两格。

五十二、给陪练者

用虚构服务名称、虚构日期和虚构金额。不要要求学习者登录真实账户、展示付款方式或真实账单。练习目标是读懂页面语言，而不是执行账户操作。
