Human reproduction can become confusing when students mix Primary Science with details from older siblings, secondary-school Biology or general internet information. The Primary 5 syllabus has a deliberately bounded model. The specific location where fertilisation occurs in the female reproductive system is not required at this level. Strong answers stay inside the required model unless a teacher has explicitly taught additional detail.

Fertilisation Is a Fusion Event

Those details are unnecessary for the syllabus outcome unless a school has explicitly expanded the lesson.

A fictional animal has Organs X and Y. X produces male reproductive cells and Y produces female reproductive cells. A male cell fuses with a female cell before development begins inside the female body.
