Series ID: EDKS-BASIC-ZH-0100 · Lesson No.100 · Full-Course Mastery Review
Mastery Review: From Beginner to Independent Expert English | 总复习:从零基础到独立专家英语
The course began with one sentence: “Hello. My name is…” It ends this first 100-lesson arc with a different question: can you use English independently to understand, decide, explain, repair and connect?
This lesson reviews the whole progression. It does not claim that completing 100 lessons automatically certifies any CEFR level. It maps the skills built, the evidence a learner should now be able to produce, and the first weak link to repair if performance becomes unstable.
这套课程从“Hello. My name is…”开始。第 100 课不是为了证明“学完就是专家”,而是检查:你现在能不能独立使用英语去理解世界、处理证据、解释复杂问题、适应不同受众,并在出错时自己修复。

Why this course exists | 为什么写这套课程
This Chinese Edition exists for Mandarin speakers who need an English entry point simpler than school-stage English guides, but who should not be trapped permanently inside “beginner English”.

- 从短句进入四技能
- 从 A1/A2 进入独立表达
- 从 B1/B2 进入证据与综合
- 从 C1/C2 方向进入专家沟通与终身维护

71. The same learning mechanism remained | 学习机制其实一直没变
At every level:

- repair
- return later
72. Only the task complexity changed | 变化的是任务复杂度
The engine stayed the same.
73. Mandarin support changed over time | 中文辅助也发生变化
Early course:
Chinese explains basic meaning.
Advanced course:
Chinese is used strategically for conceptual contrast, terminology and mediation.

Independence means:
- you can diagnose yourself

- you can repair misunderstandings
- you can transfer skills to new domains
75. Independence is not isolation | 独立不等于孤立
Experts consult dictionaries, corpora, references, colleagues and specialists.
76. Verification | 验证
Confidence is not evidence. Check important facts, terminology and method claims.

Language ability helps you process expert material. It does not make you an expert in every domain.
78. Clear English is not simple-minded English | 清楚不等于浅
Some of the hardest ideas deserve the clearest language.

Use complexity only when it improves meaning, focus or density.

- weekly discussion
- monthly long writing
- quarterly integrated capstone
96. Return by weakness, not by lesson number | 按弱点回去,不按编号重学
If your source tracking fails, return to source lessons. If collocation fails, return to lexical lessons. Do not restart at Lesson 001 unless the foundation is genuinely the problem.
97. Final self-test | 最终自测
Can you independently understand, explain, negotiate, decide, translate, write, revise and verify in English across unfamiliar content?
98. For parents and teachers | 给家长和老师

Do not mistake difficulty for quality. Ask whether the task makes the learner more independent.
Keep diagnosis precise: find the first weak link.
99. The course promise | 课程真正的承诺
This course cannot promise a certificate or an identical outcome for every learner.
It can provide a structured path from very small English toward increasingly independent, precise and transferable English use.
100. The final sentence | 最后一句
Properly learned English is not a subject you carry. It becomes a tool you can use.
真正学会的英语,不再只是一个科目,而是你可以使用的工具。
