Common Rehearsal Errors

  • Too early: the learner is rehearsing before the Mathematics is sufficiently built.

This converts the rehearsal into an instructional map for the next cycle.

Repair, Then Rehearse Again Only When Useful

Target the highest-value weakness first. Then return to another comparable full practice only after the learner has had a chance to change the underlying behaviour.

The second rehearsal should answer a question: did the repair improve the full sequence?
