Spotted a neighbourhood issue in Sengkang and unsure which agency to contact? OneService provides a route for municipal feedback, including cleanliness, greenery and maintenance of shared infrastructure.
The app’s official FAQ explains how to choose a category, attach photos and describe the issue. Check the exact location before submitting so that the responsible party can find what you observed.
A useful report is factual and specific. Here is how to prepare one without turning an ordinary maintenance enquiry into a long complaint.
Choose your reading route
Describe the observation and location · Use the app’s instructions for the category · Choose direct assistance when needed · Keep the follow-up connected to the report
Describe the observation and location
Write the block, road or landmark and the precise part of the area concerned. “Near the lift at this block” is clearer when you include which lobby or floor.
Describe what happened or what is not working. Avoid guessing the cause or attributing motives when your evidence is only a visible condition.
Include when you noticed it and whether the issue is continuing. A current obstruction and one that has already disappeared can require different follow-up.
Use the app’s instructions for the category
OneService requires photos for case submissions and allows up to three. Choose images that establish the location and issue, taken only where it is safe to do so.
For illegal-parking reports, the FAQ requires a live photo using the in-app camera and submission within 15 minutes. Follow the current category instructions rather than uploading an old gallery image.
Check the details before submitting. The FAQ states that submitted cases cannot currently be edited, so accuracy at this stage is useful.
Choose direct assistance when needed
OneService’s FAQ advises contacting the responsible agency directly for urgent cases. Do not use a routine feedback submission as a substitute for immediate assistance when the situation requires it.
For relevant urgent estate maintenance, our Sengkang Town Council contact guide identifies the separately published maintenance-service route.
Check who manages the property concerned. A neighbourhood name does not mean that one organisation handles every building, road or facility within it.
Keep the follow-up connected to the report
Read the case updates in the app and keep the case reference. An acknowledgement means the report was submitted; it should not be interpreted as confirmation that the work is complete.
If the issue recurs, the official FAQ advises citing the previous case identification number in a new report. Explain what you observed this time.
Keep photos and descriptions focused on the problem rather than unnecessary personal details about neighbours. A clear report gives staff information they can use and helps the neighbourhood’s shared spaces work better.
